The Humvee 2-CT Ambulance Model was created as a prop for the Last of Us Concept Fan Art Environment. As part of my final project for the 3D modeling class, I decided to begin with texturing the model to assess its visual appeal before proceeding with modeling the remaining components of the vehicle. While there are still several parts missing, I believe the current state of the model is satisfactory, with the most challenging aspect being the tire modeling.
The model itself was created in Maya, while the intricate details of the tires were sculpted in ZBrush and utilized as high-poly models during the texture baking process in Substance Painter. The texturing process itself was carried out in Substance Painter, showcasing the skills I acquired in both Maya and Substance Painter throughout the semester.
This project serves as a culmination of my learning in 3D modeling, demonstrating my proficiency in utilizing Maya and Substance Painter to create detailed and visually appealing models.
